Island Joinery Services are a English family owned property refurbishment company based in Playa Blanca, Lanzarote, with over 50 years joint experience in the joinery industry, offering high quality, affordable solutions in refurbishments and repairs to your most valued possession...... your home!!
After spending more than 27 years in the joinery industry in the UK, initially serving a full City & Guilds apprenticeship as a Cabinet Maker/Joiner then returning to college to serve an extra Advanced City & Guilds course to achieve absolute perfection in my chosen trade, then moving up through the ranks to the position of Works Foreman for two companies and achieving my goal in 1998 of owning and managing a large Shopfitting/Joinery company with a turnover of in excess of £2million pounds per annum supplying high quality joinery items and installations to a large client base, from Blue Chip high street retailers through to discerning private individuals.
My partner and driving force has also spent more than 20 years working in the timber trade as Sales Manager for two national timber suppliers and has built up a huge knowledge of all aspects of timbers, sheet materials, decorative laminates and kitchen installations both in the national supply chain and practical applications for her products.
We, as a family, decided that the time was right to move to Playa Blanca after owning our own villa in the area since 2003 and to fill a gap in the market for quality and professionalism in the joinery industry on Lanzarote.
Our focussed aim was to offer residents of Lanzarote and holiday home owners alike a reliable, punctual, friendly English joinery service which will commit to offer clients an un-parralled level of customer care and service as you would expect from any established, professional company.
